A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to go and tour the MPIX facility. I will admit I had heard about the company but I had never really knew much about them. Let me just tell you it was A-mazing!!
I learned so much about the company including that it is right here in Kansas. The company started in 1939 and has grown from a little photography studio to a nationally known photography lab. Nola was our awesome tour guide and had been with the company for over 20 years.
One of the things that sets MPIX apart is how every product no matter little (like the accordion books which we watched as one was made) to the canvases, wall clings, prints, photo books and everything in between are touch by human hands.
The facility is impeccable...
stunning works of art.
Every single picture goes through this room. It is just 1 of the many checkpoints where prints are insured that they have the highest quality.
This map is on one of the walls in the facility. Every blue dot represents a customer's location. I especially love the 2nd picture below showing how they even serve the cruise ships out at sea. I told them if they ever were needing someone to do some research on 1 of the cruise ship I would totally take one for the team. :)
MPIX or you can find them on Instagram @mpixfans, Facebook: mpixfans, Twitter: @mpix or Pinterest: @mpixpins. They carry everything you need for creating beautiful works of art to capture the every days of your life.
