Part of morning chores everyday is cleaning the barn and bedding the cows with fresh hay. I'm telling you these cows have maid service EVERYDAY! I wish I had maid service everyday! The milkman's dad brings the tractor in and pulls all of the yucky hay out and we replace it with fresh sweet smelling hay.

On Saturday we left the farm and headed to the city for Taryn's piano recital. Mrs. Olsen does an amazing job with the kiddos. She is an awesome teacher!Taryn has taken off about 2 1/2 months because she was in basketball and there was no way she could do everything. I don't know how she does all she does. Her schedule makes my head hurt! Ha! She did good but towards the end of the piece she got flustered and Mrs. Olsen was gracious enough to go up and help get her through it. I was so proud of her for not giving up.

21 years ago today. WAIT WHAT??? I can't believe it, they say time flies but I remember this day like it was just last week. I remember thinking that this marriage thing was going to be a piece of cake because I love him SOOOO much! Cue the screeching tire noises!!!! Marriage is sooooo much harder then what it looks like in the movies that is for sure. Don't get me wrong I love the milkman and I always will, but marriage is something that has to be worked at everyday and that is something I NEVER expected. I have been blessed beyond measure to say the very least. And I'm glad God gave me this man to share my life with. When I was a little girl my mom taught me that is was very important to pray for your husband. She said I needed to pray that he would love Jesus first, then me and that I also needed to pray for his choices that he made as he was growing up. My mom is a very wise woman!
So, if truth be told I started praying for the milkman when I was about 10 years old. I remember praying for little things also that I thought would be an extra bonus. For example I always wanted to marry a guy that had a dimple and guess what he does. I love how God answers even the little desires of our hearts. Besides the bonus of the dimple He also gave me a man that loves Jesus first, then loves me no matter what. He has been a wonderful husband and an AMAZING daddy to our kiddos. 21 Years!!! I can't believe it, it has gone so fast I just hope the next 50 don't go quite as fast but I know they will. I hope I can just remember this day and know that God answers prayers even if it is as silly as a dimple from a 10 year old little girl!
