Flea Market

Ohhhhh, the Flea Market. So many things to see and so many things to buy. Things you didn't even know you really needed until you saw them and thought that needs to come home with me. Ha! Ha! If you like hunting for treasures well this is the place to do it that is for sure.

Remember yesterday I told you about that clothes line that Kenton and I (well more Kenton, if we are being honest) worked on. It is in the picture below. See how the aprons are hanging on it. I liked it because it added some height to my booth and you could see the details on the aprons easier than just having them all folded up in a basket.

I was thankful for all the help I had setting the booth up. It is always a little stressful for me to unload the trailer and all the boxes and make sure it looks cute. I couldn't have done without my sweet girls Taryn (who somehow I didn't get a picture of sorry) and Tiana. Then my friend Sara on right in the picture below also came early 6AM early (seriously a true friend) to help as well. Thank you SO much to all of you I am so grateful.

Another friend of mine Cristy who was also a vendor at the Flea market this time. In fact we made sure our booth spaces were together so we could visit the day away, brought some of her family to help her out. The day went really well and we had a great time "working".
This was was one of the coolest things we saw, isn't it SO cute?! The vendor even how stuff inside to sale so your had to take a peek in just to see. Like I said you never know what you are going to see at the Flea market and that is what is so fun. You will have to come next time and find some treasures of your very own.

An Idea

Not this last weekend but the weekend before I had a booth at the flea market. I have been trying to figure out a  way to display my vintage aprons better. Then I came up with this idea. I am so thankful that God blessed us with a son so He can help me execute the crazy ideas that I have. We just took some quickrete mixed it up and put enough to fill the top of 2 coffee cans.

Then Kenton drilled a hole at the end of each dow rod that he place in the center of each coffee can of the quickrete.

After they dryed over night I put twine through each end of the holes at the top of the rod and then sat them up on the table at the flea market and hung aprons with wooden clothes pins in between the cans. It looked like a little clothes line so cute!  I forgot to get a picture to show the end result loaded for today's post (I know pitiful) but I do have a picture of the over view of the booth on tomorrow's post so make sure to come back tomorrow to see it. Stay warm and have a great day!

The Groove Book

A few weeks ago a Instagram friend talked about how she had just received her Groove book and how easy it was. I thought what is a groove book? So I looked into it. It is a free app you can download from the app store to your smart phone, that lets you once a month download 100 of the pictures on your phone that you chose to be printed into a book. Groove Book will then send you a book with 4x6 pictures that you selected from your phone. They are perforated on the edge so that you can tear them out easily to share or scrapbook. They are also dated so you know when you took them.  SO cool!  The app is free, but it cost $2.99 per month to have the 100 pictures printed and shipped to your door! Now, if you know me at all you know I'm all about the bargain and the shipping alone would cost about $2.99. I don't know how they can print 100 pictures and ship it to me for only $2.99 per month but I'm not asking!  Right now as one of my friends you can get your first groove book for FREE! And if you know me at all FREE is my favorite word! The last picture of this post I have the code you need to get your first Groove Book FREE so try it out for yourself.  Have a great day!

Happy Birthday Mama!

Today is my sweet Mama's Birthday. I am SO thankful and grateful that I am able to call her my mama.  She is such a inspiration to all of those around her. She loves Jesus first, then my daddy and if I can be half the mother she is I will be doing great. When she was diagnosed with Parkinson's 2 years ago she hasn't let it get her down she has just figured out ways to fight through it. She is an amazing example to all of us and I'm so proud to call her my Mama. Happy Birthday Mom I love you so much and wish you a great day and a very blessed year!

Sister Fun

I forgot about these pictures until I was going through the pictures on my camera. Tiana is such a good big sister to Ky she loves playing with her. I found them with their Polly Pockets all set up like they were at the lake. I have to admit I was a little bit nervous about the water getting spilled on the carpet but they did a great job of not spilling any. They even cleaned up everything which is a Mother's dream! I am very blessed! Sweet Sisters
