Company Christmas Party 2014

The Monday before Christmas we had our company Christmas party. It is fun once in awhile to get all of the fancy dishes and linens out and use them.

The milkman made the most de-lish dinner.
We all throughly enjoyed it. I made the dessert (I forgot to take a picture) it was chocolate pudding cake and ice cream.

After supper we gave out their Christmas gifts.
I hope everyone liked what I bought. It looks like Scotty did!

We couldn't run this farm as smoothly without all of these amazing workers (I didn't get the milkman's folks in this picture but they work everyday also). Thank you SO much team for your year of hard work. We are so grateful for all that you do to make this farm such a success. We are looking forward to another year of keeping up with the ladies at the Keriel Dairy!

A Christmas Sing Along

Saturday night we kicked off Christmas week with a Christmas open mic at my friend Mary's barn. It was a great night. There were so many people and I loved seeing all of the awesome tacky Christmas sweaters and listening to all the amazing vocal talent!!

Mary's husband sang a couple of songs with his quartet, they did awesome!
It was also fun for me to sing with a couple of guys that I have sang with on the praise team at church.

The evening was perfect with a perfect host and hostess, great visiting with some new and old friends and yummy snacks complete with a most de-lish hot chocolate bar with every kind of topping you could think of. My kiddos and I thought this was SOOOO De-lish!! Thank you so much Mary for the invite we had a blast and it was a perfect way to kick off our Christmas week!!

The Preschool Program

Last week Ky had 2 little Christmas programs one for Sunday school and one for Preschool. She did great with both of them. The pictures below are from her preschool program.

After the program was over it was hard to get the perfect picture where they were all looking and smiling just right. But, I think these are pictures are so perfect and they make me smile!

Maggie and Ky have become such good friends they like the same things. In fact after the program they could go and eat snacks or make a little craft and they both went right away to the craft table so cute. Ms. Tonya does a great job and I'm so thankful for her and her team for helping Ky with her early education! She loves school so much! I just hope that thought continues all the way through her school years.

On Sunday night our worship team from church all gathered together divided up into 3 groups and hit the town to go sing some Christmas carols. This sign was on a bulletin board in one of the assistant living facilities where we sang.
It was so fun to interact with the people. I wish so badly we had enough time, I would have loved to hear their stories I bet they would have been amazing. I don't know why but I really wanted to get to know this cute little lady she was adorable!

Of course out on the farm we don't have many outdoor Christmas lights so it was so fun to see all of the different house and all their Christmas decor.
I had an amazing group, they were so fun. As we were driving around in the church van it was great to  learn about their stories and how God had brought them together as a family, how they had met etc. As we went to the different place I was reminded how truly blessed I am and how grateful I am that we have this season of the year. That God would send His only Son to earth as a baby for me! How He sacrificed His one and only Son on the cross, how He would be raised up from the dead in 3 days so that I might have enteral life with Him in heaven someday. All I have to do is accept His gift by asking Him into my heart to be my Savior. God made a way for me through His son and that gift was called eternal life. He is the reason for the season! What a humbling night! What an amazing time, I was truly blessed!!
