Thanksgiving #1

We had the Milkman's family Thanksgiving on Sunday night. It was a great evening full of fun, laughter and of course lots of yummy food. The "kid's" table would get a little loud at times but in a good way. I love how the kiddos love their cousin Corey!

Here are the 2 responsible for it all. They like always were amazing hosts.

Of course the 2 litttlest people hugged on each other the most, well Kyler might have down most of the hugging!!
We finished off the night celebrating the Sr. Milkman's Birthday along with the other 2 November birthdays which was my Brother-in-law David and Natalia. We had a great evening and are thankful for our family!

High School Musical

I say this often but I am so thankful for the wonderful friendships our kids have. The older girls' friend Lindsey was in the musical High School Musical last weekend preformed by the Christian Youth Theater. So, of course we went to cheer her on.
Taryn, Natalia, Lindsay (who was in the play) and Madeleine who is also a wonderful friend all enjoyed the evening at the theater.
Laniese and Tiana surprised Grace (on right) with tickets for her birthday. She was so excited! I will tell you if you have never been in a vehicle with 6 teenage girls it is VERY loud in the car. Between the loud music on the radio and the even louder conversation my head was buzzing by the time we reached our destination HA! HA! We had a great time and again I am so thankful that my young ladies have found other wonderful Christian ladies to grow up with!

Make A Joyful Noise

In Psalms 100:1 It says "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord…"
We are NOT a quiet family by any means!! In fact, I am surprised that our neighbors next door (who are the milkman's mom and dad) don't call over here more often to see if someone is hurt or something is on fire. Usually in the middle of all the crazy if Taryn is home there is this calm thread of hymns being played and usually she has Ky helping her find some new notes. I love that Taryn plays piano! We had all our children play for a couple of years but no one has stuck to it except Taryn. She started in 2nd grade and I love how she has a love for it. I have never really had to tell her to practice she just always did that on her own. Now that she is playing all kinds of "grown up" music I am so thankful for the beautiful notes in amongst our crazy, loud household. I'm also so grateful that she lets Ky sit beside her and play right along. Keep it up Taryn we are so proud of you and the gift God has blessed you with. Our prayer is that you always use it for His honor and glory!

Selling a little Junk I mean Vintage!

On Sunday my friend Cristy and I had booths side by side at the Flea Market. In the big city of Wichita, the Coliseum hosts a huge Flea Market once a month. It was so fun to have our booth side by side so when we weren't busy we could visit.

It was SO busy for the first half of the day! It is so fun to see what people go crazy over. What I thought would sell quickly, like the picnic baskets, I only sold one this time. You just never know.

Again Tiana went with me and she was my right hand girl. I couldn't do it without her. She is such amazing help.

Since mom is still here she was able to come midday and stay for clean up. She is also such great help!
Tiana and Cristy's daughters had a little fun when the sale was over and it was time to clean up. These girls also after helping their mom and dad clean up their booth turned right around and help us until everything was put back into the trailer. I was SO grateful! Thank you so much you guys! It was a great day and we now have some funds for some Christmas shopping which was the goal. YAY!
