The weather around here has been getting cooler Fall is here, which is my favorite season! I thought I would share a homemade Hot Chocolate recipe that my sisters mother-in-law gave them. If you notice I said sisters instead of sister's mother-in-law, because my sisters married brothers. So, not only are they sisters but they are sister-in-laws. Crazy huh?!I love this recipe for a couple of reasons: 1. It makes a big batch that usually lasts most of the winter season. 2. It is just so creamy and yummy and hits the spot on a cold day. Here is how to make it.
In a large bowl pour in:
1 box of powdered milk (it needs to be the box that says makes 8 quarts)
15 oz. milk chocolate (which is normal hot cocoa you can buy)
1 cup of baking cocoa (I noticed that ingredient didn't get in the picture, not sure what happened there)
4 cups of powdered sugar
1 small french vanilla powdered creamer
1 box of vanilla instant pudding
Stir it up thoroughly in a bowl that can seal airtight, I use a big Tupperware bowl.
Put a 1/3 to 1/2 cup (depending how big your mug is) into your mug add hot water stir, a couple of marshmallows and enjoy!
