Homemade Pizza

The other day I put a picture on Instagram of the homemade pizza we usually make on Friday nights. I had so many sweet followers ask for the recipe that I thought it would be easier to just post it on my blog instead of e-mailing everyone so here it is. Now, I realize that there is a ton of different pizza crusts recipes out there in the world. This is just the one we have used forever and we like it. Here is what you do.
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees
In a bowl you mix together:
1 cup warm water, 1 package of dry yeast, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, and 2 Tablespoons of vegetable oil. Whisk that all up then add 2 1/2 cups of flour and knead it together until everything is incorporated.

Set in a warm place (I set it mine on the back of the oven) for 10 minutes to rise.
Grease your pizza pans (we always use cast iron skillets but you can use whatever you like) and press the dough into the pan. This recipe will feed our family of 7 but if we ever have company over I double it.

Then all you do is add whatever toppings you like.

Bake for 20-25 minutes. It's super easy, super Yummy!! Enjoy!

Miss Studious!

Ky loves to dress herself, most days she changes outfits about 4 times! The other day she came out looking like this. She had found some little dolly glasses and a necklace and then proceeded to "work" by playing some of her games on the ipad. She was cracking me up!

The 50th Party

Yesterday I told you about the 50th wedding Anniversary we had up in the hayloft Saturday night. What I didn't show you was how much fun we all had afterwards kicking up our heels. I also didn't tell you that one of my best friends from high school Tischa came up from the promise land (Oklahoma) for the weekend and was able to help with all the festivities! She was amazing help and we couldn't have done it without her. Thank you my sweet Tischa!

Tischa was so excited to get her own Keriel Dairy T-shirt and she thought our logo was perfect!

Tischa is a nurse by day and a ballroom dancer by night. She has some dance skills ya'll. She taught alot of us a few steps it was so fun!

Now Kyler on the other hand was cracking everyone up, she HAD to dance to every. single. song! She barely let me take her to the bathroom Pitiful! She kept telling me "I have to dance with my friend." Thank you Alyssa for being so patience with her and dancing almost all the songs with the little dancin' diva!

It was so good to hang out with friends for the evening. Olivia and Tiana have known each other since they were in kindergarten and have remained friends ever since. I love my kids' friends!
It was a great night!! I LOVE it when there are good memories to be made! Thanks again Tischa for all your help last weekend. I'm so blessed to have you in my life. You are a dear friend and I hope you can come up and visit again real soon. Love Ya!

A 50th Wedding Anniversary

On Saturday night we had a 50th Wedding Anniversary Party up in the hayloft. The family that booked the space did an amazing job with all the decorating and details. The hayloft looks so dreamy!

They hired us to cater the meal and of course the milkman doesn't ever disappoint with his culinary skills. It was a amazing night! Thanks Manheimer family for thinking of us and for having such an beautiful party. We hope your folks have another happy 50 years together!

Happy 14th

Yesterday was Kenton's Birthday! We can't believe he is 14, it seems like yesterday that he was this little mister.
God has blessed him with a talent for building that is over the top. I pray often that Kenton will use his gifts for His honor and glory. I know one thing is for sure that if we ever need a building project or handy man job to get done it will be accomplished.
We asked him where he wanted to eat for his Birthday and he picked "Freddy's" which is our local hamburger and fozen custard joint. I thought he made a wise choice :) My dad was in town so he was able to celebrate and come with us. Kenton we hope you had a great day and we pray that you will have an amazing year. We love you so much and we can't wait to see what God will do with not only your 14th year but with many more years as you grow up.
