Story Time

Yesterday I did something with Ky that I had never done with my older kiddos. We went to story hour at our local library. Not that I didn't want to take the older ones when they were little it was just that we lived so far away, 30 minutes from town and about 15 minutes of that was dirt road and by the time I loaded everyone up and knew I was going to have to grocery shop on top of that I just didn't make it a priority. Don't get me wrong I LOVE to read and I would read to the kiddos before bedtime almost every night and sometimes at nap time. But, we didn't go to a story time at a library per say. That is until yesterday. Since we moved back into civilization we are able to make a 5 minute drive to the library for story time.

 My sister and kiddos were able to come also which Ky loved. It was alot of fun. The story time leader did an excellent job. When she was finished reading to the kids they made a super cute craft. Ky thought she was all that making her own craft. And informed me that "I do it" when I tried to help.

 Story time was finished off with a snack which the kiddos thought was delish! Our library did an awesome job! I'm so glad that we can participate. If you live close to a library I highly recommend you check it out.
