A New Adventure

Kenton bought 100 chicks with his money, they are laying chicks so in the fall we should have eggs in the store. Baby chicks are so cute and soft! Kyler wasn't to sure about them at first but she watched them for the longest time.

They came in a box like this, we picked them up at the local feed store. Who would have thought that you could mail baby chicks! Craziness!!

1st Easter

We had a great Easter! We spent it with the Milkman's family. It was so fun to watch Kyler try to figure out what she was suppose to do with her basket of stuff. It was a fun relaxing day. I'm so thankful for the reason for the season, I'm so thankful that Jesus died for my sins and he blessed me with such an incredible family. I hope you had a blessed Easter as well.
Love those tiny toes

18 Years

Today 18 years ago the milkman and I were married! Can you tell which Era we came from? My hair alone is a dead give away. I have always said the higher the hair the closer to God!! I remember that day standing up in front with Danny and saying those vows and thinking I love him so much that this will be a piece of cake and we will live happily ever after!! The truth of the matter is marriage is hard! It has taken us on a journey that didn't always involve alot of love but then there were times I couldn't have breathed without him beside me. I know that God's grace has brought us to this point today and I'm so grateful to God for giving me a man that loves Jesus first, me and then his family. A man that works so hard to provide for us and that loves to love life with me. Thank you Danny! I know that I haven't always been easy to love and I'm so grateful you never wavered  I love you!

Have you seen that new show on TLC called Extreme Couponing? Well I have and it got me all motived to start clipping! I have always tried to save money but decided I would get serious. I even made a book and organized them by category just like on the show. I went online and I down loaded coupons to my local grocery store card and took off with baby and my second daughter. It took about an hour and a half but when I went to check out it was so fun to watch the total dwindle down for a total savings of 44 dollars and 34cents!! I was so excited! So, I haven't got to having 9 carts full and only spending 25 dollars but it is a start and I know that the milkman is happy that I'm trying! Yeah!!!!!

Pet Peeve

When the milkman built me a new house and I had to pick out fixtures for the bathrooms I made sure to pick a toilet paper holder that would be VERY easy for everyone to change out. As you can see its a slip on and off no spring load action I wanted none of that!! But, now I have noticed that everyone will try to leave the smallest square possible so as to not have to change it out! ARe you Kidding ME!!!!! What is your pet peeves?
Oh and do you put your TP over or under? Me, I like it over! Have a great day!

I Spy....Where's Kyler

Did you find her? We went to the mall this weekend and we had to add another model to the Old Navy group!! It was a good day but a very long day! Have you ever shopped with teenagers? I like to think I'm kind of cool but after shopping with them I realize I sound just like my mom did when I was their age I kept catching myself saying things like "Just try it on, it will look better on you then the hanger" or "I've seen everyone wearing this" Pitiful!!! But, we finally found that 8th grade graduation dress!! 8 hours later but it is home safely in the closet. Now, hopefully she will like it in a couple of weeks! HA! HA!

My Brother

My brother Wayne was able to come and visit for a short while this weekend. He is one of my younger brothers but we are only 2 1/2 years apart. When we were little we didn't always like each other in fact, I use to call him Wayne the Pain!! But, now we are really good friends. He is a business man, a father of 3 and he has an awesome way of balancing everything, something I could learn from him. He is SO funny he can crack you up without even meaning to. Thanks Wayne for taking time out of your busy world to come and see us. Love Ya Tons!!

It is so nice the milkman has someone he can trust when he wants a 5 minute break to spend with his family. We are so thankful to you Owen for your  diligence and hard work we hope you have a SUPER GREAT Birthday you deserve it!

This picture cracks me up because he is nothing like this but he and Taryn decided to pose for me so funny!!

Anyway, I wanted you to see some of the crazy we have whenever we get together for holidays especially Christmas. The difference between the first and second picture cracks me up! And this isn't everyone! Can you imagine!! So, now the secret is out, now you know why I'm might be a little off my rocker at times! I hope this makes you think of your crazy family and realize you aren't alone!!

Planting Season

I will be the first to admit I don't DO NOT have a green thumb just ask my sister she has come to my house many times and have saved the few plants I have in my house so, to plant something outside for all to see well.......scary!! Hopefully with the kids help we can keep it looking nice. It is fun to plant something so little and watch it grow!!!

Two of my daughters and I were walking into the grocery store on Saturday morning around 11 and a tall man came up to us getting into our personal space a little and said "Where are the Horses?" I thought what???? I don't know but Prairie View (which is our version of a place where crazy people go) is just around the corner!!! But, as we walked into the store we saw a banner that said from 12-4 today the Budweiser's Clydesdales horses were going to be there. We didn't think anything of it but when we emerged an hour and a half later the parking lot was a total zoo, people everywhere and they were unloading the horses and wagon out of 4 semi trailers. I have to admit it was amazing!! We then were able to watch them drive them down the street, I'm not kidding you, you could feel the pounding of their hoofs as they drove by. It was so cool!! What amazing creatures! I guess the guy who I thought was crazy wasn't so crazy after all!! Have a great Monday!

I know I have talked a lot this week about our one and only son but.......He amazes me!! Last night he decided to go to our junk pile we have and he built this wagon with only the things He found in the junk pile!!! I saw Him pulling it behind the 4-wheeler up to the house and I ran out and said "You have got to be kidding you made that just now?" He said "Yup" Like it was no big deal!! It blew me away. For an 11 year old that is amazing I know I'm his mother and all but I thought that was unbelievable. So if you ever need anything built or designed just let him know! I know that the milkman never has enough hours in His day to do all the projects he comes up with!! I can't wait to see how God uses his talents in His life! Your amazing Kenton!!!!

Whats Up?

The wind actually died down enough for the kids to fly their kite. I think this is a lost art I mean really.........do we ever really take the time to fly a kite? Remember the song from Mary Poppins "Let's go fly a kite"? Well, if you do not only will it show your age but if you know the words then you are really old!!! Ok, thats me because now I singing the song. Hope your day dies down  and you can go fly your own kite!

One great thing about the milkman's job is that he gets to see the sunrise every morning (whether he wants to or not) This morning I also was able to witness it because the baby decided she wanted to get up crack of dawn as well. I think she might have to many of her daddy's genes in her!! I always tell the kiddos that if it is a stunning sunrise or sunset it is a clapper! What I mean by that is, its like the beginning or ending of a day that God has provided for  you and when it extra gorgeous (you know the ones I'm talking about) then it is like the beginning or ending of a great play and it is a clapper. So, the next time you see a stunning sunrise or sunset thank God for the beauty and give Him a clap!!!

The Garden

Kenton our 11 year old has worked really hard on the garden. He wants to plant a bunch so that he can sell the produce in the store. I'm really proud of his garden it is  so neat and tidy I wish my house would look that way :)

Its also amazing to me that you put a tiny seed in the ground, water, throw in some sunlight and you have food. How fabulous is that. I will let you know when the goods are ready so you can come and shop! I mean really who needs Wal-mart? Ok I still do!

Some Big Help

First of all thank you so much for all the new readers that have came over from Meg's Blog Whatever. I Loved hearing from you. You comments were so kind you made my day!

The milkman receives  sale catalogs often in the mail and he enjoys looking at them. Well, tonight he had some help deciding which cow he should look at to potentially buy. I thought it was to precious so I snapped a few pics with my phone I know they are not the best quality but it is a memory I didn't want to miss.

Um lets see....

What do you think Dad?

I think this one is a good one!!

Glad I could help you out Dad!
